Battlegrounds matched making

Matchmaking its weird, i m a paragon, and just fought a celestial with over 20 7star on rank 2 with ability unlock. And after that match i fought a uncollected with the highest champion was around 8,000 ranking. I won without blocking. Whats happening?!
