Doom vs Galan GC question

I thought putting Galan against Doom would be good. Galan would gain buffs (prowess), reduce damage, nullify immune for Doom can't take them away, and the stun immune rotation would stop that annoying Doom slap stagger. But, I got this instead. Suggestions on how I can replicate it when I use Doom against him?

    Galan is not immune to power steal. So doom can spam specials and do his usual doom rotation

    Hate to break it too you but doom is the best and most efficient galan killer :/

    The stagger I didn't think would apply that much since he can't chain the heavy for 1/2 the fight. Didn't realize he was not immune to power steal. Oopsies. Thanks.

    Doom is actually still very strong in this meta, just have to keep an eye on the stun timer

    I use Doom all the time in this meta, just didn't realize that Galan wasn't immune to power steal.

    I know most of us that have been playing the game for years know the difference - but at this point, for new players, with how many different buffs and debuffs there are, don’t you think the game should have and encyclopedia for them?
