Do we need to do Knull's Void if we already have a Rank 5 Summoned Symbiote?

Do we need to do Knull's Void if we already have a Rank 5 Summoned Symbiote? The only benefit I can see from doing it is the title, and 6000 Bump In The Night Crystal shards. Or am I missing something?
