I dont really like Kushala, never really liked this version of Ghost Rider since it didnt show at least on the Comic anything really related to what makes Ghost Rider a cool character overall.
They said chee'ilth takes no block damage and doesn't care about the damage the opponent has. She also has a great cleanse mechanism. Curious on that. She has a Viking/Native American vibe, which one is she? Also GodSlayer got one more GR to add to collection.

At first I thought she was a Wakanda original character, but she’s First Nations (Native American/Indigenous) like Dani Moonstar

Yeah, they pretty much went with the lamest possible choice. I get that they were probably wanting more representation and whatnot, but the character is barely a ghost rider. It sucks that they won't bring in another ghost rider for a while either because of this. Give us the flaming heads, people!

It's native american history month, robbie was never in the question
everyone getting upset that it's kushala and not robbie are missing that this is for native american history month
The month shouldn't matter tbh. Champs should just come out regardless. It feels weird with you saying the representation is delegated to the month and that's the reason why this champ is coming to the game and not because of their character like most others. My point being, Kushala should be able to come out in any month of the year and it shouldn't be "We need x kind of character because it is this particular month"

Then go with another native American character. Everyone knows how these releases work. Now that another ghost rider has been added, there won't be another for a long time. It's objectively lame to go with a character that lacks all the distinguishing characteristics of what they're supposedly based on. They should've went with someone like Echo
Broo yesss omg they literally went with the lamest ghost rider possible. I was really really hoping it wasnt her. I dont like the look of cheelith too. Big disappoinment for me 😔

I mean yeah i agree that it doesn't inherently matter, but it's not like they actively said we want a ghost rider which one will we pick, they've talked about wanting to add kushala for years and it lined up with their new original champ and the time of year. complaining about this is exactly the same as complaining about queer characters being added in pride month or cap falcon and misty being added in black history month. if they added kushala last month before robbie you still would have been complaining

except that they've specifically wanted to add kushala for years, not just lets pick any random native character. we've literally seen like 2 images of her and you're already complaining that she doesn't have the characteristics of what she's supposed to be which is just a weird argument. not all ghost riders are exactly the same anyway
As someone who doesn’t have much attachment to Robbie or Kushala, I’m fine with the choice to bring her in first. I expected her to be added first since she was a candidate in the Summoner’s Choice vote in 2022. Outside of the winner of each vote, we’ve seen 5 other vote candidates get added as Champs, 4 of those actually being added in 2023 (counting Kushala). While I understand that Robbie has a lot of fans, I’m personally more excited to see Kushala since she’s a more obscure character.

You are aware that she is based off a character from the comics, right? You are aware that she's not an original character that we know nothing about, correct? Also, it's not like they had to specifically wait until November of 2023 to add her, they've could've added her whenever. But now, we won't get another Ghost rider for over a year probably. You seem to be determined to convince everyone else who we think is cool or not. We're not complaining about representation like you keep alluding too, just that we were hoping for someone different. Dang people, everything has to be as if everybody hates everybody when it's simply wanting to play as characters that we enjoyed from the comics (or agents of shield, in this case for me). Joys of the modern world, I suppose
I just realized how lacking this game is in diversity lol. Aside from the machines and animals, it’s majority black and white. 2 Indian characters in the whole roster and barely any Hispanic characters.
I wanted Robbie Reyes too but I don't get why so many people are crying that it's Kushala instead, y'all need to grow up it's not the end of the world 🤣

Right but did it HAVE to be this month? I don't think it did. But I'm arguing a different argument from everyone else here and think I'm just confusing people haha. I'm more advocating for representation no matter the time of year and not making it at just feel like it is delegated to specific celebration months. I'm happy kushala is in the game but if we had to pick from the pool of ghostriders robbie would have been my top option. It just feels weird to me that it "had" to be this month or something like that

2 Indian characters?!? Who????
I believe they are referring to Dani and now Kushala. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I don't remember the entire roster lol

For some people it does. Does it affect you though?

Oh so Indian as in Native American as opposed to East Asian.

Indian is not the same as Native American.
Correct. Forgive me for not being 100% accurate on every characters nationality.

Representation is important to some people. It’s more so the fact that they keep going on about representation but still only bring in the same type of characters (not counting next month ofc). There’s an obvious disparity in racial groups they introduce. Maybe it’s a marvel problem in general though idk

Ah sorry I should’ve specified. I meant Indian as in South Asian. I believe only Sorcerer Supreme and Omega Sentinel are Indian in the game (don’t think I missed anyone).
