Battlegrounds Matchmaking

I feel like there is a lot of improvement that can still be done to the matchmaking system. I have no way of progressing past diamond, when all my opponents rosters have like 5 rank 5 6 stars and 4 7 stars every single match feels very hopeless for someone who has a mere single rank 4 6 star and one 7 star and all my matches go like this:

It would be nice to get some more fair match ups against people that actually are on the same level as oneself rather than people with accounts that are 10 times better and impossible to win against.

There’s no matchmaking system as of platinum 2 and above. If you’re playing mostly against accounts higher than yours, that likely means you had the skill to beat most of the accounts around your level.

It would be nice to get some more fair match ups against people that actually are on the same level as oneself rather than people with accounts that are 10 times better and impossible to win against.

Your account reached the limit, try in last 2-3 days, that's when everyone starts to actually go to GC and then you'll get easy matchups.

You hit your max. It's a competition. If you want to get higher, increase your roster or skills

Your win/lose ratio suggests that you are at a tier above of what your account/skill should be.
Yes there is a matchmaking issue, but that’s rather the problematic Prestige matching below Platinum2 that propels accounts higher that they can compete.
No offence, but if you feel there is no way to progress past D4 because opponents have several 6*r5s and 7*s, why don’t you focus in other areas of the game to get some yourself too?
If you consistently can’t win, play only for the objectives and wait till last days of season, to grab couple of VT more and maximise your rewards without frustration 🙂
