Anyone else not getting any points from simply completing BG matches?

I'm getting absolutely thrashed in the Gladiator's Circuit so getting up to those 450K points feels pretty daunting. What makes it feel even more daunting, however, is that I don't seem to get any points if I lose a match. If I've understood things correctly, you get 4500 points for winning a match with Elders Marks and 2250 for completing one (which I assume is a nicer way of saying "whenever you lose one"). Well, I get points whenever I do win one every once in a blue moon, but my score is completely static whenever I lose a match. Given that my win rate is about 20% on a good day, that's a lot of Elders Marks not giving any points whatsoever.

Weirdly enough I seem to have a different score in the alliance event compared to the solo event, so maybe it's just something that affects the solo event?

Anyone else having any issues?

Alliance event has extra point objectives so it’ll be a bit more than your solo. But I think it happened to me once when I finished a fight that I was bound to win so I closed my phone since I had to do something. It gave me the win but no points.

Right at the end after the results? Yeah. That counts as quitting despite the result already having been settled?

Hrrmph. I'm simultaneously relieved that it wasn't a bug and instead something that I could easily fix on my own, but I'm also really annoyed that it's a thing because I hate sticking around for 10 seconds or whatever after I've just lost the fight. To be fair, I hate sticking around even if I've WON the fight so I guess I should be glad that I didn't hop out even after my wins.

But thank you, both of you. That's going to help me a bunch. I've probably lost out on so many points doing that in the past. It just became super noticeable now that I'm hardly winning any matches at all.

I mean. You aren't staying to complete the match you're quitting out before it ends lol. Of course you wouldn't get points for completing what you didn't
