How are players able to confidently report BG cheating?

Or at least suspected cheating. Many more legitimate matches seem suspect when looking at invalid fight stats.
This is a practical question that would seem to benefit Kabam from having to "investigate" false reports. I see a lot of "is this possible" posts this season. I also see responses from other forum users about how total hits is buggy and it counts blocked his, or DoT ticks. The problems with this is:
1. Ideally fight stats should be reliable
2. If they are unreliable at the moment, some official information should be provided as to exactly how we should interpret the stats.
But really I have to assume that most of them player base isn't in the forums so acknowledging that 1. isn't true at the moment and prioritizing the effort to get back to that is essential.
Here's an example of a fight that may very well be legitimate. I tend to air on the side of "not a cheater" but I could easily see this being reported:
The fight time is probably possible. 61 total hits almost surely isn't. 40 hits (the highest combo) could be possible in that time. But Terrax also managed to land 4 hits (or is it 4 hits into block?). I also assume that the "other" damage on Terrax is degen from and armor break. Not sure what the other "other" is. Also not sure what the "other" damage is on DM. Under finishing blows I see 50 incinerate ticks. This means we waited through an SP2 animation. Now the fight time seems even more iffy.
I don't expect the casual player to play these sorts of mental gymnastics. And they shouldn't have to. The data presented should be clear, accurate, and relevant. Maybe that means that the data presented for BG is different than for other game modes. I don't know. But I do know that the current state of things can leave players feeling like they were cheated when sometimes (often?) they weren't. Spending time on non-cheaters only benefits the actual cheaters.

Look at that! SP damage and incinerate damage. This provides much more clarity into how the fight went so that we don't need a whole player base of laser johns being gatekeeper to the cheaters.
If they played fair they have nothing to worry about.
I have no intention of reporting the above person. I wasn't waiting for validation. I was using it as an example of how the state of the game is causing confusion.
