An honest mistake

I'm someone who rarely plays battlegrounds as the rewards have never really enticed me to play more than for the objectives. When I saw the season 12 solo event rewards I knew that I had to get them.
So long story short I realised that if quit using energy and played using gladiator marks I could farm up point easily without having to play hundreds of matches, which I didn't have the time for. I didn't know this was a bannable offence until just now (after I had finished the milestones), as to me it just seemed a strategy that only impacted me.

I'm not asking for no punishment, but I really don't want to be permanently banned for an honest mistake as I have been playing this game for well over 5 years at this point and have never done anything like it before. I would hate to lose this game and account that I love so much.

He's saying he was farming points to get Milestones & never knew until now that Points Farming is a Bannable Offence
