From the first time i saw this big, fear inducing, menacing mutant hunter in X-men origins Wolverine game... i simply fell in love
He is my favorite villain figure of all time, even just as minion in hands of Bolivar Trask, Hellfire Club, U.S military or any other villainous organization.

They are not easy to deal with, hard to escape or hide from, and the worst part is that there is always more.

How is he compared to the recent techs? Especially Omega Sentinel and Nimrod. Is he still good? Has he aged well? Does he need a buff?

I think he's aged pretty well. Incredibly tanky with his Armour and critical resistance. Decent DoT and utility (heal block, armour break, Shock, Incinerate). He has built-in Power Efficiency, which makes him a counter for Languor nodes; and also has resistance to most forms of Power Control. Damage is okay, albeit a bit dependent on those Incinerate debuffs at 100 Analysis.

He's not quite as cool and slinky as Omega Sentinel or Nimrod but he's not out of the game, yet, either.

I feel like the only thing Sentinel is missing is removing Prowess, without a synergy. Many mutants these daya depend on Prowess for their abilities (Kitty Pryde with her phasing, Sauron with his unblockable, etc).
Also he cannot counter Havok that well, because his Armor is a passive and not a buff. With Bishop it’s similar.

Was hunting 6 star since i returned to the game several years ago, cannot be disappointed with champ i already knew how to play.
They guy performs a lot better than i anticipated. In non-mutant matchups he feels close to nimrod in terms of dmg output. With higher sig i will be able to occasionally work into power manipulation nodes and make Sentinel into annoying defender on power gain nodes in aw.


If i were to recommend anyone synergies to help playing him, i would specifically mention Sassy synergy that shortens the ramp up and Lady Deathstrike synergy that gives very potent cowardice.
My 6 star Sentinel relic helps a lot, can't wait to dupe it in order to see all the incinirate dmg.

Also literally best languor counter.
