Champion disappearing in AW battle

Today Node 34 in AW battling VisionAarkus with Doom my champion disappeared after getting hit with an SP3. Plenty of health however couldn't press any buttons, I was only able to see that I had an SP3 available but also unable to use it.

    Looked like this, I had to research it, but this is what also happened to me. I have never had this happen during my more than 3 years of game play.
