6-star Cursed Blade Tip not given for entering BG Gladiator Track?

I got into GC a week ago. Today I looking in my inventory, and noticed that I only had a 7-star Cursed Blade Tip (and also the 6-star and 7-star Cursed Handle that we got in the mail).

I was under the impression that whenever you can earn a 7-star piece, you will also get a 6-star piece.
Looking at the Vibranium rewards, it does seem to show only the 7-star piece.

Were we supposed to receive the 6-star piece as well as the 7-star Blade Tip or not?
Is the only way to get the 6-star piece (at this time) via purchasing for 30k tokens in the store?

When you turn in all 5 7* pieces, you will get both a 7* and a 6* deathless guillotine

You only get the 7* pieces from GC, Necro and so on.

The 6* pieces are only purchasable for Trophys, Glory, Artifacts and Loyalty.

But if you gathered all 7* ones you can claim both Guillotines.

I wonder if once we turn in the 7-star pieces, if the incomplete 6-star pieces will still just just remain in our inventory like a memento.

Or, once you get all the 6* pieces you can dupe the 6* most likely

One would think a generic 6-star gem should be able to awaken a Nameless champion, but if it doesn't, then trying to collect all 6* pieces (at the same time as the 7*) might be something to do.

I'm sure it will but there's probably better champs to use it on. I doubt a semi trophy champ will be worth it.
