Wait, you didn't get the super secret VtD buff? All you have to do to activate it is buy 31 Namor's Sunken Riches from the webstore. Then you have to beat room 25 of zone 6 in incursions with just Sersi, Silk, and Heimdall on the team. After that is when it starts to get tricky. You must perform a handstand for 34.265433 seconds EXACTLY and upload it to YT as unlisted. The title has to be "I like Dino Nuggies" Moderators will be timing the handstand to make sure it is exactly 34.265433 seconds. After that you are going to need to buy the daily UC deal from the webstore for 50 days in a row. Once you've done that you will have to explore Necropolis in a span of 16 hours from start to finish. Once you've done that you will just need to buy 69 more Namor's from the webstore and you should be granted the super secret VtD buff.
This sounds like one of those old Pokémon myths to get a mythical Pokémon. Either that or a newer evolution method

It wasn't confirmed per se, but on one of the streams, maybe the 7* release, it was said by one of the guests that VtD was on the radar for maybe getting a buff at some point.
That's basically a promise that my 7* VtD will be buffed within the year, and basically an invitation to gather an angry mob to burn down Vancouver if that promise is broken.
I remember that conversation, vaguely anyways, and I don't recal

Ooooo is a concrete commitment to make VTD on par with Herc. Everyone knows that. We just need Jax to accept it and make it happen.
