Having trouble with inputs

I’ve been having trouble with inputs. I press block on my phone but the game does not block, I swipe on my phone for a medium attack and my character ends up doing a light attack. What’s happening?? And is anyone else having this issue?

I have had the block problem happened for a while, dex fail, and most important specials not activvating and then I'm left open.
