Cosmic Rank Up Conundrum

I'm getting ready to dump some sig stones and rank up materials into a cosmic champ, but can't decide who is the most useful. Hercules seems like the obvious choice, but it seems like a lot of nodes, at least caught up in story, are being designed to combat just Hercing things. Who are you spending your resources on in my situation?

It depends on what you want to do in the game. The only content I've seen that has a strict anti-Herc node is the Necropolis. In fact, he's the undisputed MVP of EOP: Acceptance. He's great in the Grandmaster's Gauntlet as well, in addition to mowing down countless of paths and bosses in general story content.

That said, when I had to make a decision between them, I chose to rank up Hulkling instead. He's not better all over the place, but he's better where I want my highest-ranked champions to shine the brightest - Battlegrounds. Until Necropolis came around, Battlegrounds has been my sole motivator when it comes to ranking up champions. Hercules is good there, but Hulkling is the god.

So it depends on where your personal focus is.
