Can members joining after December 6th still participate in banquet event?

With AW ending on December 6th and the rewards dropping probably the next day, a lot of people might be moving between alliances. So my question as the title suggests, would people joining after December 6th still participate in the banquet event? Or do they lose out on the rewards or are they plainly won't be allowed to participate in the event? Also, lastly, would late joinees be able to put points towards the event immediately?

    I believe you can but you can’t participate for all days. For example if you join on the 8th you can participate just not for the first 2 days
