IPAD glitches

Why does my brand new IPad have so many dropped inputs and shaking screen. Seriously horrible I have been using iPhone and figured the power and speed of an iPad would be better. Is there a setting that needs fixed or is this game just horrible on iPad? I had less issues with my 2018 IPad. Bought the new one and game play sucks!
