Sheesh! I’m sure Kabam has something coming up in the new year for the rewards to be this underwhelming after criticism from Cyber weekend.

For a paragon+ there’s not much benefit in my opinion - just need gold and ISO 8 to rank champs other than that… I’m not fussed. I have T3A and T6 Basic from grinding battlegrounds. Why waste units when I can easily access them in game.

Either way, we get free stuff in the calendar and I guess that’s the only W from this.

Kabam biggest mistake was July 4th offers, they nerfed 2 of the most important events of the year for that broken offers

Last year 1 t3 alpha was 60000 points at 4000 points a crystal
This year it’s 58800 at 2800 points a crystal
So last year was 15 crystals this year is 21

Every event this year has been better than this. I’m disappointed that I grinded for valiant to get less than mediocre rewards. Paying more and getting less than last years banquet? Im good. I really hope these rewards are changed. They don’t even have to be game breaking, just better in general.

This is basically it boiled down to its simplest form. Kabam made a huge mistake and a great swath of the community gets fun events nerfed for the foreseeable future while the whales applaud the lackluster rewards for the rest of us.

What’s also weird is they’ve completely omitted the ascension dust from this months side quest. As if 1 every 2 months was a “generous” amount.

It feels like they’ve toned down the rewards for paragon+ because of the road to the crypt rewards we’ll receive next month

After having deals to buy units and becoming valiant it's crazy when most of the things in these crystals and in the milestones I get in my free daily crystal. This event is horrible and absolutely disgusts me how bad the rewards are and how much it would cost to get them.
I can't believe that kabam would even put this garbage out there. It's an insult to the customers that they have. I was an avid supporter of this game and I was planning on participating but no I am not going to spend over 10k units to get a 7 star. I feel like kabam just spit in my face after seeing this. I can't believe that they would take something that is supposed to be fun for everyone and turn it into such a disappointment. What a horrible greedy company.
Why can't kabam make money and make most of the players happy with reasonable costs and returns. Can you imagine spending 100$ to get 10 crystals and you get a bunch of t2a or t5b that you just got finished selling out of your overflow because you had 30 of them expiring. Or an awakening gem when you have 10 of them and every champ you have is already duped.
I guarantee that anybody that spent real money on cyber weekend to get units for this is just as unhappy as I am.
What kind of company deliberately does something to make the people that spend money with them unhappy.
And a blind man could've seen how this was gonna turn out.

So GBC probably is going to cost the same. However, the points are worse, rewards don’t match the current meta, and the only hope for FTP or light spenders is for a blessing from RNGesus in the GBC.

Yeah this is based on 300 units obviously but without any mention of price we have to just assume they are the same as last year.

Absolutely. I’m not the most skilled player, but my account is pushing for Valiant (3 more Acrop runs to go). There really isn’t much in those 300 unit banquet crystals I’d see as a good use of my unit spend. I know there needs to be some dud pulls, it can’t all be wins, but there’s really no incentive to get these. Even the rank rewards, there’s no incentive to push unless you’re whaling out going for top 90 placement.

Next year they need to split the event and have crystals that are for Cavelier and below and Thronebreaker upwards, so they can tune the rewards more appropriately and maybe have event that higher end and veteran accounts feel incentive to take part in.

Although it is fun watching KT1 and Lagacy rip the event to bits. Maybe Kabam will take note and reduce the cost of the actual banquet crystals. No way these are worth the usual 300 units.

On second thought, even at 200 units that’s only a reduction in cost of 300 units for 1 t3 alpha a full 12 months in advance. Still way off the mark.

Based on the scoring and milestones last year, I saved 7,000 units for this event believing it would be enough of a cushion to get all milestones. Unfortunately for me and probably many of you, the milestones at 7k units won’t help my account, nor would spending the 10-11000 units hurt my account. So the gambling factor makes me lean towards saving those units and maybe next year will be better…. Don’t forget we were able to buy a 4-5 rank up crystal a few months ago using only loyalty…🤔

I was worried because I spent more units than I had planned on the cyber weekend, but seeing how mediocre the banquet looks, it was the best decision.

Very disappointing Kabam. So many players look forward to gifting and save their units and you let us all down by increasing points needed AND giving less points. Very dirty moves that make it really sad. Also, why would anyone spend 300 units for t2 alpha, 4k 6 star shards, or t5 basic. Anyone Paragon+ can get that for free on a daily basis. This is absolute insanity.
Doesn’t accurately represent the economy of the game and should be fixed.

To fully participate in the upcoming Banquet's Alliance Event you will need to be in your alliance for 14 days prior to the event's start date on December 20th. That means, stay in your alliance from December 6th onwards to enjoy all there is to offer in the Banquet event.

As a high paragon / soon to be valiant, this is a complete bust. Taking it piece by piece…

Solo milestones — nothing notable before 92,400

Solo ranks — nothing notable unless I hit 1% or better

Alliance milestones — nothing notable before 688,000

Alliance ranks — nothing notable unless we hit top 10 (the 2500 7* shards at 5% are fine, but hardly worth the investment)

In my case, “notable” means 7* shards, Titan shards, and r2/r3 mats. Anything to do with 6*s couldn’t be less motivating at this point.

You got two weeks, Kabam. Tune this up.

That makes a VERY large assumption that Paragon+ = Necropolis completion. I bet there is an overwhelming percentage of Paragon that have not run it yet.
