Dr. Voodoo Bugged?

Not sure if this has always been the case, but on Dr. Voodoo Sp2 on even combo, the energy damage from power burn doesn’t scale with champion rarity or rank.

“Even Combo: All of Voodoo’s attacks gain a 50% chance to burn 2.5% of his opponents Power, Converting 525% of Power Burnt into Energy Damage, lasting 15 seconds.”

So I think the way this works is that when you convert the max of 3 Loa on an even combo, you burn 7.5% power per hit (3 x 2.5%). I don’t understand the math on how the 7.5% power burn is converted to damage based on the 525%, but what I do know is that my 3* Voodoo did the exact same damage as my 6* Rank 5 Ascended Voodoo. 355 damage per hit. Not sure if that’s always been the case or it’s a bug, but it definitely doesn’t feel good. I hadn’t used Voodoo for a long time before ranking him up and ascending him, but I thought I remembered the power burn damage being more meaningful.

    Power is a static value and doesn't scale with the champion rarity so the 525% would always be working off the same number. It would be nice if he got a value buff to maybe scale it with his base attack or something though

    Right, but Vision also does damage proportionate to power burn, and the damage does scale with rarity.

    Anyway, I looked back at some old videos and it has always been this way. The damage probably seemed more significant to me because I was using Voodoo at a much lower rarity/power level so the energy damage felt more proportional to the basic attacks. On a 6* Rank 5 Ascended champion the lack of additional damage really stands out. Definitely would be nice for them to tune this.

    His damage is calculated differently than Dr. Voodoos
