Was that a good pull? - Necropolis Completion

Just completed my first run through Necropolis. Though I have been preparing for it since its launch, I didn't have enough time (and resources) till this week. I'd call it a decent run, spent 50 revives for the path (Titania> Guardian) and 30 on the grandmaster.

My team was r5 Kate (ascended), r5 Shuri, r2 Wong (my only r2), wiccan and chavez for support.

Like most others, I was also excited about the reward opening.

So, I went ahead to pick up the class gem first. I got mystic. I got excited as I could get Chavez, Juggs, etc., or some other great champ.

I picked up my first mystic crystal... Wong Dupe. Fair enough. He's my only r2 and I don't have any other mystics except sorcerer sup so I'll take that.

I picked up Mystic again, expecting to find someone r3-worthy. And guess what, another Wong Dupe. now he's sig 40.

Atm, I really can't decide if I should feel happy or sad. I liked playing Wong in The Necro and he put in good work for me. But man, getting him from these rare crystals, and both of them, is... like... idk how to feel about this lol.

That’s a bit of Wong overkill. I get your frustration.

I plan on using Wong for my Necro exploration runs. You’ve used yours already, and I think he’s one of the best (along with Shuri) to get the whole thing done.

Happens sometimes… it’s clearly a sign but you don’t need to rank him up if you don’t like him

Yes, @DrZola He's very nice for Necro. He can handle many fights and even come out fully healed at times. I will also use him quite a lot in my exploration runs too, and these two dupes on him make it a no-brainer for me to use him again lol.

@SecondSkriller Yeah, that's true. I'm not going to be r3ing him anytime soon. I'll hold the gem at least until I either pull a great mystic, or I get my second gem for Valiant.

Did you used shuri a lot? Is she mandatory? And who you used foe guardian aarkus nova and air walker

I barely used Shuri. I r5ed her just for this, but I ended up knowing that her shock damage is very low even at max stacks. Didn't have a slot to take Misty for synergy either. I'd really recommend a 7starR2 shuri, or at least an ascended r5 6 star, because of that.

Used Shuri for some damage to Guardian, Dragon Man, etc. And yeah, that Wiccan, he could have been a pain without Shuri but I believe it was manageable with Kate too. Besides I used Kate for the rest of the fights (except Aarkus, whom I used Wong for). Even for the grandmaster, Kate was my only option, as critting with Shuri is difficult, and Wong can't apply damage effects easily.
