Aegon-less Necro Run Help

TikkaMasalaTikkaMasala Member Posts: 475 ★★★
I’m going to give the Necropolis a go for the 1st time today and would love some advice. Unfortunately, I do not have Aegon though I’ve tried and tried to get him with many Mutant/Skill crystals. So my team will likely have to be:

Kate - R4 Sig 200 (can take her to R5 if absolutely necessary)

Chavez - 7* R2 unawakened

Shuri - R4 unawakened (can awaken if necessary)

Wiccan - 7* R1 unawakened

Heimdal

Would love to know if this team looks capable. I’m an above average player but only an average Kate player which is my worry.I could bring Zemo but he’s only R3 currently though I can take him to R4. Any other champs to consider and who you’d replace?

I have about 50 revives in my stash, about 1000 4-hour crystals and nearly 12,000 units.

I’ll need to watch some videos before my attempt but appreciate any advice and input from the community first.

Thanks for any help!

I would urge you to R5 Kate. Else the time is too less, in general .if you have wong, you can use him . If a 7*, the best. You can solo lots of fights

I personally used kate r4 sig 110 massively boosted, along side 7* 2 wong, 7* r1 odin, 6* r3 juggs just for gm and 4* chavez just for sinergy. I think I've should wait to rank up and ascend kate, I'd spend much less. However now she's r5A lmao, she's really great besides necropolis. (I'll explore necropolis but in future)

Ok. I’ll R5 Kate before I attempt my run. I’ll probably ascend her too. But can’t add Wong to my team - only have him as a 5*.

Yeah I’d likely eventually take her to R5 anyways so might as well just do it before I make my run

How many revives do you think you used to finish it?

    Imo r5 is necessary
Btw how much health you can take for titania before dying? And what's your rotation for kate?

I’m gonna be honest, its very easy to solo if you get into the right rhythm, i was thinking it would be hard to keep the debuffs paused, and i was losing them pretty often until i got the flow of things. I recommend if theyre not near the corner to punish them with a 5 hit combo to pause the timer (@swarmofravens gave the idea). Use her naposte when haymaker is triggered, and heavy counter her specials. Could even block some parts of her specials (you probably will either way during rooted ) but dex before last hit and heavy . One thing i did at the start was to corner as quick as I can, so right after her heavy, id dash in (if they were less than a bar of power). Get 2 tranquilize , 3 dissolver, than 3 coldsnap and then sp3 spam.

I wonder if I can solo her, how hard the other fights would be to solo, because you do that fight with full health . But then again, someone told me they just did fights with her at 20% and revived to save potion usage. Still curious how she compares to the other fights in terms of difficulty.

    Anyway best of luck

You can't solo her with r4 cuz you get rooted pretty soon.
Also imo, tranquilize is useless as you keep her in the corner most of the time.
My strategy is start with cryo, apply 3 coldsnap with 3 sp1s and build up those perfect release charges, then switch to fragility and apply 3 fragility, now you probably have 5 charges which at max sig, will now increase your coldsnap potency by 75% each
Now reapply those 3 coldsnaps, and launch a sp3 and reapply the coldsnaps again with that cruelty then sp3 spam.
Also heavy punishing specials is only useful while being rooted

The solo is definitely doable with an r4, I did it with an r3. The main thing that helped me was once I got into the root phase, heavy countering every sp1 and heavy spamming until she reaches sp1 again. No specials, no 5 hit combos, just heavy spam. With an r3, you will have to learn how to fully dex her sp1 while rooted, which isn’t too bad imo. With my now r4, just partially dexing the sp1 is usually enough to survive long enough in the root phase to solo.

Also, one option I like for my rotation against Titania is to only apply 1 tranq instead of 2 before switching to fragility. 1 tranq still prevents most of the debuffs but allows 2-3 to get by to provide willpower healing which helps with survivability.

I am also curious as @Polygon said to know how difficult soloing Titania is compared to other fights. If she’s one of the harder ones that’s awesome.

    Solo with r3 is incredible
The issue is, my kate is only sig1, so it'll be tough to get huge bonuses with perfect releases, anyways I'll r5 and raise her sig to lvl 100 before my actual necro run.

Thanks, and yea the sig makes such a big difference imo. I took mine to s200 yesterday and the damage difference is insane, more than double the coldsnap damage compared to unduped. I’ll be using an r4 ascended when I go for my run so should be pretty similar to an r5. Good luck man!

R2 Chavez for the cosmics, and r5 ascended herc for guardian. Hoping to pull 7* Adam though so I can use him for it instead of herc. For the grandmaster I have no clue lol. Probably just unitman with 6* juggs and shuri.
