Need a little help.

I was using Venom fighting Shuri in TB EQ. I had Odin prefights, Galan planted his seed, and the normal Venom buffs going. I believe the total was around 7-8 buffs, but I stopped getting the Vigilance buff. Shuri was above 20% health so it wasn't assassin mastery that did it.

What am I missing?

Possible she was using protection which kept Galan from planting his seed?
