In the current feature arena (Falcon (J Torres)), I crashed twice to death matches.
    1st and 2nd tries.

I am going to wait for champs refresh and then test it deeper into the streak.

This is last match without using 6-Star R1s.

    I use only 7 stars and ascended r5 or r4 6 stars and with 41 round i got 12m.

In the other are of 6 stars (now Wolverine) with the same champs in 29 round i get the 4m.

Really dont know how many round need for the 4 stars arenas.

So, poor result for me. Still have to continue try survive a death match and see if really r2 6-Star is the lowest new norm.

Sneak in a round in basic arena and death match next.

Looks like needing to rank more champs to R2. :(

One was over 34k, the other under 33k.

At whatever rarity/rank teams are borderline, there is still the “how high is their PI” within your group at that rank.

A team of your higher ones of that rank may be good, but continuing down thru that rank by the time you hit lower ones (even if still same ranks) the overall rating may fall too low.

Don’t know if 33k or 34k is the cutoff, but looks like it might be (at least, if that happens again right there).
(Edit, although now I see some of your earlier pics seem to contradict that. One even lower was good. One even higher was bad.)

It’s the one area of the game that I wish was just fun to play. Challenging is fine, but this lottery of mixing up teams to avoid death matches doesn’t make for an enjoyable experience.

    This is on basic arena.

I managed to complete 10 rounds with 5-Stars at max rank. :)
Going to try it on the featured arena.

If you spot the points versus number of rounds discrepancies, I crashed twice and had to restart the run.

This should be my last post in this thread.

A full team of 6-Star R1 is no longer possible to keep a streak (caveat on skill level, I know mine is low), but a full team of 5-Star R5 works, though the points are approximately half of the 6-Star.

    Summary
This still works for me currently.

    1-5 .... 6-Star R1 (max level)
    6-12 .... 2x 6-Star R1 + 1x 4-Star R1 ( :D )
    13-20 .... 6-Star R2 and above
    21- x .... Back to 5-Star R5 (and cannot use 6-Star R1) till hit by death match with 7-Stars

Currently, my three champs at 6-Star R2 with lowest PI

Three champs at 5-Star R5 at lowest PI

    Death Match (6-Star R1)

Going to have to grind for resources to rank more 6-Stars to R2.
    Cheers!

So sounds like it is around 34-35k.
But exact PI may not necessarily be whole store (internal to Kabam's code).

Actually, if you want to use some of your 6* r1, looks like you can maybe include a single r2 to go along with couple R1’s (that should be enough to raise team PI up enough)

Also, since PI can vary so much within a rank, helps to pull 1st champ, then go down couple rows for 2nd champ, then some more rows for 3rd champ, even if all within same rank (at whatever rank seems to be a problem area).
That way you don’t get down to eventually only having the lowest of your champs left within that rank you're using (which might be too low of a team, even though an earlier/higher team of same ranks had been working beforehand).
