My doom

So I get that everyone loves doom, I too love the idea of him. For the life of me though, I don’t get the damn cycle.

I’ve watched a hundred videos, seen explanations, and I still can’t do it.

How the hell do I do the double medium followed by the lights? The second I do the medium medium and am about to go into a light, I get intercepted and destroyed.

How do you guys do it? How did you guys learn it?

I see no way, with any character, to do a medium medium light light light combo.

I’m an average player at best, and totally recognize that he’s amazing, so the problem is clearly me.

Anyone have any tips about how to pull this off?

You can't do MM into a light unless you're spamming and get extremely lucky with the AI. MM is a combo ender. You might be thinking of MM and then a Heavy. Or MLLLL

So, for the doom cycle, you want to throw a special three while the opponent has at least two bars of power. Then, they are stunned for 3(?) seconds. You now have a massive fury. You do MMLLLMM into special one, which will get you to a special two. Now, it’s your choice. You can either go back to another special three and do it again, or throw an unblockable special two and get some massive incinerates cooking

What I've found useful is to get to sp3 while the opponent has at least 2 bars of power, then do MLLLL, then activate relic combo and do MLLLL and then sp2. Think it ends up doing more damage then using an sp1 first before sp2

Ahhh, so you’re saying the only time I should do the MMLLLMM is when he has the stun from the S3?

practice . Just practice it tbh . After his sp3 animation , just kept swiping to the right , you can even do mlm llllm if fast enough . So if u can't nail it , it is a "you" problem , not an us problem or a doom problem
