BG Meta Appreciation Thread

I absolutely love this meta. The best meta in a year, since the armor power burn, imo

Every season, same old insignificant nodes that barely changes anything, resulting in the same old defenders/attackers, over and over again. Meta's like this promote expansion, in both ranking up different champions, and learning them. That's what this game should be about. Not tiers, god tiers, and 'useless' champs; there should be season's where the so called bottom tier champs, become significant, and rank up worthy

People complaining about this meta are a bit narrow minded, and want their generic roster with all the 'god tier' champs ranked up, to be utilized, every single season. Boooorrrring.

I actually speak up against Kabam alot in these forums, but this, thank you so much for this season's meta. I haven't maxed out my solo bg milestones in several months, I'm already almost there 3 days in

I agree with the banquet event being a bit underwhelming, but this fresh bg season gives me motivation. Please continue to provide significant nodes that promote diversity. There will always be negativity, but for the most part, most people I know are really enjoying this meta so far. Cheers K

I'll say good meta but bad timing.
This meta should be there when kabam gave 5k titan shards in solo milestones.
Now with rttc getting to the deadline, people are hesitant to rank up champs specific for this meta.
Also tough meta like these should be reserved for celebration like the bg anniversary meta.
Or just buff bg rewards as a whole (so people find value in Ranking champs specific for bgs).

So many new good options to play around with on defense and offense. Definitely the most interesting meta we have had in a while. I typically play the bare minimum on BGs and stop at GC, but this meta makes it easier to spot modders, equalizes the playing field (for the most part) against superior rosters, and you are now getting rewarded for your experience of matchups and immunities. Very nice change indeed.

That depends on who you have already ranked up . Some of the top champs in the game works great in this meta . However many of the mid or bottom champs work great too . Nobody wants to rank up champs that works good in just 1 meta since iso and gpld have always been a problem for players .

I don't really care about the metas but i do care about BG solo milestone rewards which has been awarding 6* shards since a year now and that destroys the motivation to push in this mode when rewards to effort ratio doesn't match.

I’ve been using champs like tigra, ghost, and Hyperion, that I normally never use. Even tho they’re only r3 they can take the 7 stars, it’s refreshing

Gotta make it worth while for players to rank up champs for metas. BGs just isn’t worth it given the rewards available. Smaller rosters have no incentive invest in rank ups or use elder marks. Players with limited options and resources will just wait for one of the special BG seasons to make those decisions.
