Idk why but every time I use iceman as an attacker he stops building power right before reaching his special 1. Anyone else notice this issue?

Does the coldsnap expire? It's polka dot power

It does but that's what's confusing is because his frost bite comes from landing crits but the crits come in as 0. So is it not counting the crit?

Iceman’s cold snap will not give you enough power to get to an SP1. He’s not a good attacker in this season for that reason

In the beginning of bg this season the cold snaps would give power. Now, they give iceman the viscious buff but iceman does not gain any power whatsoever. Even when the opponent is suffering from a cold snap buff and passive. It is a serious bug and upsetting. Iceman is one of the best dual use champs now even when the opponent is receiving damage from the cold snaps I can’t do any specials since he is not gaining any power. What good is the viscous buffs on my iceman if he can’t do any damage by specials or regular attacks. Ridiculous. I’ve lost a lot of matches due to this.

Iceman does not have coldsnap passives. He has frostbite passives which will not grant power because they aren’t DOT

It is damage over time. And my opponent did not seem to have a problem getting the cold snaps and the passives to build power for the special attacks.

Meanwhile, here lately, when I use my iceman he is not gaining any power with the buffs or debuffs but is getting the viscous passives for damage over time (dot) effects.

That is to say. It is not affecting everyone. Either nobody should be able to get power with iceman or everyone should be able to. It is a bug regardless.

Also, this bg meta says damaging efftects. Not debuffs or anything specific. Iceman’s passives, regardless of what you want to call them, deal damage and is a damaging effect. Also, as mentioned, my iceman is getting the viscious passives. It sees that there is a damage over time effect with the debuff and passive with my iceman on the opponent. The problem is lack of gaining power with the damaging effect. Other passives (ie nova flames from torch) are a damaging effect and not a passive incinerate like Wiccan. Both gain power. Both get the viscious buff. Both are damage over time. Similar to iceman. Yet again, only started affecting my iceman as attacker. Other people are able to use their iceman against me without issue. At first I thought someone was modding. But it is for sure a bug.

Rich the man on YouTube, who I love, has this spreadsheet with iceman as dual threat and able to be used as attacker. I am not the only person who says iceman works for battlegrounds season 14 dot.
