Game running MUCH faster after being suspended but then put back on

I've noticed that sometimes when you suspense the game by going to the home screen or another app like discord, or YouTube and then return to the game, it will go at really fast speeds, but not in a good way it becomes hard to time things well and keep track of what's going on.
