My experience at Necropolis

Hello, in this thread I wanted to share with the forum my experience on preparing and doing a completion run to the Necropolis. This will most likely be long, I will do my best to get it as light as I can. Moreover, I am not a native English speaker, so I will do my best with expression.
First of all, it is important to reflect my situation as a player when I decided that I had to try Necro(if you want to go straight to the run, see "HERE THE RUN STARTS". I was (and still I am) quite average as a player. I have some skills and I can perform some great achievements from time to time (like defeating a r4 6 star Hulkling war boss with a r4 5 star unboosted Tigra in Gold 3); but I have never tried to really compete in the game (Uru 3 in BG as a maximum, Gold3 in AW) and I have no experience with Everest Content (No Labyrinth, no Abyss and I did not even bothered to do the Realm of Legends nor the Labyrinth entry). Furthermore, I didn't complete Gauntlet or Eternity of Pain, because at the time they were released I did not have a roster strong enough (or that I thought) and never really looked back with the huge amount of content we have been receiving.
However, after seeing loads of videos and quite a few guides and journeys in the forum (thank you for that, you really are a source of inspiration and knowledge) I noticed that this time I had the tools to try it on release (as well as a huge motivation due to the juicy rewards and Road to the Crypt): Aegon and Kate (also managed to get 7 star Shuri like 3 days before the run, so I was pretty lucky).
Now, I had to decide which of them I wanted to take, and which path to do. I decided to do the Titania-Guardian path because I had already enough things to consider, and tried practising that Titania during a few days with... my r3 sig 20 6 star Kate and my r1 sig 60 6 star Aegon. Of course, it went "fun", especially considering that Aegon was relicless. However, between the painful defeats I got some decent results: a few times I cut like 1.5 million health with Kate, showing me that I might be able to do well with her; and I managed to bank twice around 70 hits with that Aegon.
Those results led me to... being as undecided in who to use as at the beginning; with the difference that now I had a Skill 4 to 5 gem waiting for one of them (super lucky act 8.3). So I r4 Kate and r3 Aegon for continuing testing, both at sig 100. I finally leaned towards Kate, because I had better feelings in the fight, better results, I love her playstyle and she might be useful in the future.
I r5 her and ascend her.
Then, I designed my team: Kate went all in as clearer; also Shuri, as I saw she could be really handy for some of the fights. Then, I got a five star r1 America Chavez for synergu purposes; and Wiccan, as I really wanted a reverse control immune for Grandmaster as well as a decent mystic option for some of the fights in the path. And I had a spot available, a spot to be assigned to someone who could help me with that Guardian particularly. And then found that my best option available was actually Aegon (fate or coincidence?).
TEAM AND STASH
My final team was:
r1 5 star relicless America Chavez.
r5 6 star ascended sig 100 Kate Bishop (level 17/55 because I am dumb and forgot to upgrade).
r1 maxed 7 star Shuri.
r4 6 star ascended sig 140 Aegon.
r4 6 star ascended sig 40 Wiccan.
As for stash, after buying with units the packs from TB and Cavalier difficulties of EQ looked like:
REVIVES:
2 lvl1
22 lvl2
10 lvl3
21team lvl2
POTIONS:
16 lvl3
106 lvl4
21 lvl 5
10 lvl 6
10 team lvl5
UNITS: 4137
More than enough boosts.
HERE THE RUN STARTS
(take into consideration that the use of America Chavez on the different fights will not be reflected, as it was made to contribute to Road to the Crypt. However, I must say that I was surprised by being actually able to scratch 1% of health in some defenders with her, considering it was my first time using her ever).
Even If i didn't want to. It was supposed to be a practice run: enter with Aegon, bank as much combo as possible and take her with Kate as low as possible. However, to my own surprise, I managed to bank around 150 hits with Aegon, and then brought Titania to 20 % with Kate.
Titania: If I remember well, I used 3 revives on Aegon to get her down (would have been 2 if I did manage to get her last 2%.
Aarkus: This was the fight that scared me the most, and in fact it was the most painful one by far. Aarkus is not usually considered as bad of a defender, but he is annoying and nasty. Adding to that the fact that he is one of those champions that consistently produce lags and dropped inputs in my device, havok was set. I tried with my whole team twice to see how he was behaving to the different champions and to build Aegon to 250 combo for next fight. Then, the main contributor in this fight for me was Wiccan, whose control over the fight is pretty notable. After being hit in the face with literally everything Aarkus could hit me with in this revive fiesta, we went to:
Omega Sentinel: Do you remember the lags in the previous fight? Well, here I remembered in the worst way possible that big energy beams also lag my device, so I had no possibility to dex her sp2. Again, 2 rounds of team effort, then mainly Aegon and, surprisingly for me, Wiccan. Those armours neutralized stack up a lot of damage. Kate can definitely do well if you get the rythm with her, it was not my case in this fight. Here went a substantial amount of revives too (some team ones), so I started to get worried.
Air Walker: also known as the fight that blew all my worries away. Got to scratch 2% with Wiccan, then destroyed him at once with Kate. In this fight I did manage to get the rhythm with her, and it was perfect. If I don't return to Necropolis ever, I will consider this one my first (and spoiler, only) solo in Everest content.
Captain Britain: 2 rounds of team effort, bulk of the fight with Shuri (she is really good for the fight, I weren't that good for Shuri; I hadn't practice much with her) and closed it with another team effort round.
Wiccan: Not too much of an issue, but a bit annoying. He really insisted on special intercepting. Mainly Shuri, but everyone contributed a bit.
Psycho-Man: A bit annoying, he mainly went down through team effort. Special recognition to Aegon for his high damage output and his ramp-up.
Guardian: Aegon time. It was tough for me because his special 2 also lags, although usually it is not as bad as with Omega Sentinel. Around 8 revives. Here I started worrying again, because I had only around 10 individual revives and 12 grupal, as well as few potions.
Valkirie: the good news here were that my Aegon was not max ramped up at the start of the fight, so I did not have the problem of him becoming unblockable and not triggering pierce (until near the end of the fight). Nevertheless, the fight was tough. Mainly team effort.
Red guardian: Aegon slayed here. Used 1 revive because I got clipped.
Sam wilson: after trying them all, used Kate. 2 revives because I got intercepted twice, but he becomes pretty easy. Careful with his sp2, don't push him to it when lock on is active. Two individual revives left, worrying.
Dragon man: team effort, and decent results with everyone honestly. Aegon hits the hardest though.
Captain america CW: pretty easy with Aegon and Kate, used two team revives because I kept getting clipped by his sp2.
Nova: Concerning. Only managed to make Aegon work, slow and painful. Moreover, the big rays lag appeared again with his sp2. Got him down with 2 team revives left, but I had to buy one revive for Aegon.
Nameless Grandmaster: I should have practiced with Grandmaster in Act 6. It was not that difficult in the first 2 phases, but the third one stings a lot. Bruteforced that with Aegon. Phase 4 went for Wiccan with 3 revives.
After all this all the revives and potions, as well as around 500 units were invested. It would have been better with more preparation in terms of dexxing specials, grandmaster practice, more experience with the champions I used... But I ended it happily. Got a mystic gem and opened from the crystals Sasquatch and Juggernaut. Another dillemma incoming.
