Anyone know the estimate for how many points you’ll need for 2-400 placement?

Lots, I expect. Which is a shame for me as I've been trying for ages trying to pull him from the 6* dual crystals. Hopefully he'll be in a Featured crystal soon.

Is spidy99 still good among those various physical attacking science monsters like hulk silk and titania? What unique value will he provide compared to other physical attackers on the science class?

Can't be that high. When released his non-buffability was unique, but there are many better champs for that now (along with other utility and damage).

I think his main value is a) easy access to pause to make his debuffs practically indefinite
b) access to wither along with buff immune so he can shut down power gain
Up to the individual how that compares to other burst physical and buff immune options, but it’s definitely a kit that has some unique options.
There’s also synergy potential, so he might fit in better than others with a spider-verse heavy team.
