Bg lockout when joining new alliance

Does anyone know the lockout for bg season rewards if you move to a new alliance? With war ending before bgs, wanted to know if we need to wait till after bg also to get people to come over without missing rewards?

Is it 7 day lockout then you can claim season rewards for bg?

Thanks. Tried using search to find the answer but couldn’t find it.
