Why remove RAIDS RESURRECTORS in the store before finishing RAIDS?

Many alliances could have made more points, they could have defeated other mini-bosses and taken other rewards from chests, they could have even finished exploring their maps, but you removed the resurrectors from the orb store early. When I checked the remaining time of my alliance's ongoing RAID, there was 50 minutes left and less time than that to update resurrectors, why remove them early? Is it for glory? What about the points and exploration that the alliances could no longer continue doing due to the lack of resurrectors within time?
