Alliance raids in mcoc don't feel like raids. Let me explain.
Raids have the general idea of cooperating with your alliance/ guild to take down an impossibly large and difficult boss and you get rewards for taking them down a certain threshold of health. You can select the difficulty of the raid which usually results in getting different bosses or different node combinations or both. While alliance raids in mcoc just feel like GLORIFIED ALLIANCE QUESTS.
It's not quite that bad but this style of quests is not what we traditionally associate with "RAIDS".
And I think making the raid chests rng dependant, especially when the rewards by such a huge margin, also hurts the mode a little. By all means make them rng dependant but adjust the rewards accordingly.

And ideally you wouldn’t have to attack in order of role type either.
Also not having them locked in would be good, I don't understand why even aq lock in is still a thing in 2024
