Summoner super lunge?

according to Kabam Miike:
" ... The animation on any attack (heavy or special) will scale depending on where the target is. Ever Champion has this, and it doesn't matter if it's AI or not.
You can do it to. The animation distance scales because if it didn't, it would look weird. ..."
I have been trying every weird way to reproduce a summoner "super lunge" on a heavy or special. The "easy" AI just stands there all the time but the distance of my heavy doesn't scale the way it seems to for the AI. Has anyone ever seen it happen? no video required. I'm just curious if anyone has had it happen.

thanks, i'll try KG sp1.
I recalled for some champ who's SP and Heavy are short-distant, if the separation is too far, my SP or heavy will miss and go wasted, has this changed? Interesting, I must re-try.
if our champs can do it too, then great, but I wasn't convinced we could so was testing it.
Yes, I've been able to use a heavy attack with other champions at a distance.
The only movement that I cannot mimic, is the "run down". the opponent dashes into you while you're blocking, you dash back on the first or second hit, and the opponent then dashes into you to complete the combo. This is not possible as far as I can tell.
IIRC, the easiest way to pull this example off is with CAWWII. Back the opponent into a corner and Pull off a heavy. CAWWII lands back far enough where is doesn’t look like another heavy would connect from that range, but it does
