How was the BGs season for you this time around?

I personally found myself losing interest in this season's meta pretty quickly. Its not bad or "unplayable" it's just boring and repetitive.
The last season had one of the best metas ever really, there were so many Interesting interactions, and unpredictable match-ups ,some champs had pretty sneaky immunities so it came down to how much you know your champ's kit and experience (You wouldn't believe how many times people put Nick fury or BP against my photon and Kushala lol) Overall it was just a fun experience.

I hope we see more metas like that instead of boring metas like the current one, it almost feels like a chore

    Really haven't played it. Just in Platinum 3 after 6 fights. last time I waited for the last few days to get to GC but not sure I am even up for that this time with the other content around. The rewards aren't worth the extra effort personally with AW, AQ/Raids, WoW, CCP challenges, SQ, EQ gauntlet etc and my actual life.

    Meta wise the first 2 weeks have to be the worst meta I’ve ever played. The ai was buggy, nodes were bad combination. It was really awful. The week 3-4 meta rn though? So much better and actually enjoyable however it still doesn't work correctly. It applies the steadfast passives to the defender and not yourself. It does feel like though ever since the power gain meta, activity has plummeted and its sad because rn this meta is pretty fun.

    Still sitting in Vibranium 3, don't care enough to ever push to GC really.

    The only time I bothered was for the deathless gully piece.

    Until the solo rewards get an update, I will continue to do my few fights every 2 days for the tokens and that's about it.

    To be honest: Yes, I did find the last meta more interesting.

    But result wise, nothing has changed for me. I generally only play my 3 matches every second day, and this usually brings me to either Diamond I or Vibranium III at the end of the season.

    I am currently at Diamond I, so basically the same result as always.

    Also, I usually generally don’t mind whether a given meta is “borderline unplayable” or something, as some members sometimes are quick to shout. If it is difficult for me, then it is difficult for my opponents as well. If they have an easier time because they have a stronger roster than me, they wil probably be more likely to beat me in any meta… so the meta doesn’t really matter… (no pun intended)

    I thought about doing the same this season, but I end up spending my tokens, I can never save the damn things hahah

    I have decided though I am going to start saving as of today, in hopes for a Valiant store or some sort of buff for Valiant in the existing store.

    Not really enjoying this meta, just doing it for the rewards. BG store may be outdated but still one the best places to scoop up some good resources.

    I’m with the rest of you in that I’m not enjoying it as much any more. I’m staying in - probably the get to GC - and hoarding in the stubborn hope that they are finally going to update the store for Valiant after this season. However if that/the rewards don’t get updated in another season or so I’m probably going to drop back to either not playing or just doing minimum milestones.

    I don’t think the exodus is more endgame players - I mean there is class of player that have huge win %’s even casually because of sheer roster size and skill in VC. So it’s not near the time commitment to push through. Those that have to fight the W-L cycle will tap out first.

    Battlegrounds was always my favorite mode and I loved grinding it as much as possible, so I really hope they improve the rewards. Valiants still getting small amounts of 6* shards from the solo milestones is so silly

    I can’t believe they didn’t keep the added milestones from previous seasons at the very least. They weren’t the greatest rewards, but they gave me some enticement to play the mode more

    D1 atm, don’t care to much, will be happy with Vib3 tbh…this season meta is 💩 for a 💩 paragon. No nodes to help you VS decks full of ascended R5s and 7R2s+.




    Not a bad deck, but not great either. Maybe i’ll do great in 2037 👻

    I think this is why I haven't personally. I did it last season when teh rewards were "normalized" but even after getting teh 25k for playing 5 games as a GC finisher I haven't been enticed to push. Too much going on this past month and too much negative vibes.

    Don't lose hope and keep playing. At this rate, I'm pretty damn sure kabam will update the bg store next season, at best, or Season 17 at worst. But I'm sure Theg must've already started working on the update. Better to Complete Victory track and hoard those trophy tokens.

    I also think this time Valiants will get their own store as well. So I'll suggest hoarding as much as you can until next season.

    All good. I have 150k battle chips so honestly the ROI is DOA.

    The metas more are less the core mechanics of the game mode. Bad nodes are completely tied into staleness

    I learnt to use auntmain website for those imuunt things but I got bored last season because I couldn’t use my favorite champion rocket raccoon

    Didn't even bother playing and I probably won't until both milestone rewards and store get updated, they're terrible.
