How was the BGs season for you this time around?

I personally found myself losing interest in this season's meta pretty quickly. Its not bad or "unplayable" it's just boring and repetitive.
The last season had one of the best metas ever really, there were so many Interesting interactions, and unpredictable match-ups ,some champs had pretty sneaky immunities so it came down to how much you know your champ's kit and experience (You wouldn't believe how many times people put Nick fury or BP against my photon and Kushala lol) Overall it was just a fun experience.
I hope we see more metas like that instead of boring metas like the current one, it almost feels like a chore

+ Probably it comes from this meta which has absolutely nothing special and isn't fully based on skill but more on who has the biggest healthpool and attack.
Don't really care
Rewards aren't good enough
The only time I bothered was for the deathless gully piece.
Until the solo rewards get an update, I will continue to do my few fights every 2 days for the tokens and that's about it.
Don't lose hope and keep playing. At this rate, I'm pretty damn sure kabam will update the bg store next season, at best, or Season 17 at worst. But I'm sure Theg must've already started working on the update. Better to Complete Victory track and hoard those trophy tokens.
I also think this time Valiants will get their own store as well. So I'll suggest hoarding as much as you can until next season.
But result wise, nothing has changed for me. I generally only play my 3 matches every second day, and this usually brings me to either Diamond I or Vibranium III at the end of the season.
I am currently at Diamond I, so basically the same result as always.
Also, I usually generally don’t mind whether a given meta is “borderline unplayable” or something, as some members sometimes are quick to shout. If it is difficult for me, then it is difficult for my opponents as well. If they have an easier time because they have a stronger roster than me, they wil probably be more likely to beat me in any meta… so the meta doesn’t really matter… (no pun intended)
I have decided though I am going to start saving as of today, in hopes for a Valiant store or some sort of buff for Valiant in the existing store.
I have a terrible spending habit sometimes. 😅🤣
“Not all content is for you” - the average player that increases the player pool in BG’s have heard this loud and clear. They have given up and this cranks up the difficulty to move up levels further down the victory track ranks. Add in the pool shrinking further because the rewards aren’t worth the added difficulty- and here we are.
This cycle of doom will continue until BGs is a dead mode unless there is a course correction.
So with more big guys dropping out (because of rewards), and more small accounts dropping out (because of difficulty), shouldn’t the playing field even out for us “mid of the pack” accounts?
I can’t believe they didn’t keep the added milestones from previous seasons at the very least. They weren’t the greatest rewards, but they gave me some enticement to play the mode more
Not a bad deck, but not great either. Maybe i’ll do great in 2037 👻
