Raids maestro

In Maestro sp1 description for raid, it does not say he will degen while blocking his sp1 for raid, yet he still does. Is that a bug?

There are a lot of specials with 100% chance of activating a effect that don’t activate through block
Usually if the effect can be activated through block, it is stated on the sp information

That doesn’t matter.. it’s been like this last raid and since act 4. There is no way people should be questioning if this is a bug. No matter if you block it or take it to the face it’s going to degen you unless you fully evade the last beam..

This shouldn’t have even been made as a thread.. it’s common knowledge since act 4 that maestro degens..

You are right. But there is no description about inflicting this effect through block.for example, kate's arrow effects trigger on sp2 even if opponent blocks the arrow hit, and it is clearly mentioned in her kit. Op is asking the same for Maestro which seems reasonable

I don’t even remember the act 4 battle
I think it is valid question since it is the only instance I can remember in the entire game (2 if you add the act 4 boss as you said) where an effect is applied through block without being stated

It could also mean all he has to do is launch the sp1 to cause defen, dodged or not.
Point is, it should be worded differently, regardless.
It may be common knowledge to most, but it's a bad time if you find out the hard way by blocking it and get killed by degen because their wording is terrible.

You can also dex all 3 beams. I recommend maybe going into act 4 and practicing the timing before going into raids. The first 2 beams you dex immediately, kinda like superior iron man's sp1, but the 3rd beam you must dex it slightly later than you think. I don't play with sound but maybe sound cues will make it easier.

Yea ive been practicing with my necro maestro and 5* lvl 1 titania, dexing is easy but like you said the last beam still not 100% cause my timing is off, ty so much for your response

I have practiced it quite a bit as well, and even now I still get clipped by that last beam occasionally.

Of course, it's rarely when I'm practicing, it's always when I'm fighting him in raids or BG's and it counts. 😅

Don't stress Kabam will change the description..easy peasy...

I usually block 2 beams and dex the 3rd. But degen is nasty when you get caught.

If you look at maestro in your champion list, it say it will activate through block, last raids it said it will activate through block, this raids they took it out like he was not suppose to be able to degen you through block. With how beefing this Maestro is o don’t think it should degen through the block. There are a lot of champs the say 100% chance to activate but don’t do through block unless it says.

I’m 100% certain he is meant to do that. It’s the same maestro as act 4 he does the exact same thing. He did this in the first raid and NO ONE complained all the youtubers did not question it.
