Chaining specials

Haven't had a problem with this for years. The past few weeks I'm landing maybe 2/5 specials I chain from a combo. It's like my combo is moving so slow and the AI blocks so fast. Some champs are worse than others. I think the L and XL have been easier to get a special.
TBH the whole combo feels slow and awkward a bit like using QS. Had a look about and no one else seems to have an issue so I'm assuming it's me or my phone but I'm getting same FPS/ping. Any ideas?

    Solved. Very unscientifically did a number of things to my phone and one of them or all of them sorted the issue.
