New Titania Heavy vs AI issue

What is going on? Just a few days ago I had no problem using a heavy the instant the fight started. The defender would either dash back out of the way or they would try to hit her and then they would get hit by Titania.
Now when charging the heavy the AI apparently has time to hit her and then dash back.
This isn't a problem with my reaction time since titania just attacks the instant she gets hit while unstoppable.
