stagger debuff - jabari in AQ

Hi,

in which case jabari ignores the stagger debuff?
I fought against him in AQ and he had the debuff active, i saw the running red icon. He did not purifies it and hits me with a combo.
How is that possible?

Jabari only activates her cleanse when she’s attacking. She can’t purify debuffs that are already on her.

I’m not sure I follow what you’re asking, but I think you’re using the wrong terms?

Are you talking about a parry stun? Jabari has a cleanse mechanic that activates when she’s attacking. If you parry her, she can shrug it off very quickly and counterattack you.

I mean jabari as the section boss in AQ with diversion.
In the case you are out of the striking range the opponent gets the stagger debuff. And that was the case, regardless of the active debuff he was able to hit me. 🤷‍♂️

All that means is when the defender is out of your striking range they get inflicted with a stagger. The stagger doesn’t mean they can’t hit you.

stagger means miss in my humble opinion.
Every fight and also during the fight against him he misses, just before he dies (last percents) he hits me although he had the stagger debuff

I believe she counters miss whilst on the hunt.

Okay, so the node inflicts Falter, not Stagger.

Falter does cause you to Miss.

Unless you're a champion who counters Miss...


Pro tip: Any time you see a node that's going to Inflict a disadvantage on the defender, ask yourself "Why is Kabam doing this?"

Sometimes it's a genuine attempt to give you an advantage; like in Thronebreaker EQ.

Other times - well other times, it isn't...

Yep, as others have pointed out, Jabari has a part of her kit that counters miss mechanics. So you could have seen everything that you posted here and still gotten hit. Everything is working as intended.

i understand, maybe a misspelling. Because in the "german" version, the debuff is "schwanken" and i thought the translation is "stagger"
