Deathless Guillotine Carina challenge with 5* Guillo99 ?

Unfortunately I never had the chance to get myself a 6* or 7* Guillo99 so I never mind attending this challenge, waiting for the moment when I will have one of them.

But being 1 point short for the total rewards of the WOW, I could really use that grace point given with the Deathless Guillotine objective.

So I'm wondering if anyone ever finished this Carina challenge with a 5 stars Guillo99 or if I should change strategy and focus on ranking up Morninstar, Purgatory or OG Guillotine?

I was in the same boat and used a r5 g2099. She did okay. I think I took a tech oriented path on the 8.2 quest which she still crushed but otherwise on the bosses she was just okay, my other champs were all 6R3 anyway so it was a bit of a revive fest but it wasn't too bad.

I'm a bit affraid of dying couple of times and ending up loosing my 100 combo, and then being in a very bad loop of trying to get to the 100 again and just die over and over from too much block damage. But glad to see you did it, Idk how far my 10 revives will carry me on but I guess let's see

I didn't really use her at high combo. I forget the path I took but she just did good damage by using the node. Otherwise the other champs did fine for everything. I must have used like 10-15 revives per quest though. Their dmg was all pretty bad. Lol

I did it with r2 6* on my mini.
Your 5* r5a ascended will perform better ofcourse.
No purg on the team just teamed up with unleveled og guilly and morning star.

The whole 3 quests? And no used for the other champions? I was about to r3 Morningstar and Purgatory but I'm low on gold. Did you use a lot of Revive?

Same pinch you are in same boat as me. I was very hesitant at first. But it's perfectly doable with 5* Maxed Asc. though not that fun as it would be with 6* or 7*.
The scytalis was a cakewalk, Bahemet i just did yesterday. For Cerastes i m thinking to wait for a 6* but i might do it someday never know.

Additionally, you can follow mcoc noob guides, scytalis won't be issue to solo. With Bahamet, you will have minor damage issue ie like 10%-15% every armour break unlike the 7* which can do way more, will be slow, can cost you few revives but doable none of the less. Cerastes is anyways the easier of the bosses, that also shouldn't be an issue, the path has minor some challenges though that needs morningstar as well.

I just completed all 3 with only g99 because I was in the same boat you were. Took me about 30 revives total but well worth saving all the rankup mats. The bosses are fairly straightforward just a bit long, then the only other problem you may face is the path on 8.3, which is not easy with only g99 but it’s still doable. I believe the path cost me 5 revives and the other ones were itemless.

Awesome, thank you for your answers. Glad I can still believe in having this 7 start guillotine by the end of the week, and glad I will save some rank-up materials instead of using them on champions I will never use!

Yea it's not that bad, some items yes, but nothing back breaking.

6 revive total, and 3 because the sp3 of the first image actually didn't kill lol, I don't if it's a bug or if I misread but this situation should have not happened I guess...

Little update on my journey!

I finally beat Bahamat but I used so many revives and units on his last phase I was getting mental. Something like 18 revives maybe. Before that I also spent 120 000 6* shards on the double tech crystal to hope for a 6* Guilly but still nothing. And now after getting the 7.500 7* shards for the second objective I opened a 7 stars and...



This is quite funny, I don't know if I'm happy for the 8.3.6 or if I'm crying because of the irony of the situation

Again thank you to everyone who told me they did it with their 5r5, I'm glad I did it aswell and I'm happy I will get this extra wow point!
