Winter of Woe - final Milestone for Paragon - but *only* if you had Deathless Guillotine

Pretty bummed that if you didn't have the Deathless Guillotine, and thus couldn't do that additional challenge last week, you're ONE point short (provided you do everything in the gauntlet) of hitting your next target.

I assume I, like a lot of people, simply cut my losses and said "no thank you" to the Absorbing Man fight. I just couldn't do it. And it wasn't worth the frustration for me. But I've been able to do everything else - besides the Deathless Guillotine.

When Kabam announced this Winter of Woe, they said that Valiants would be able to get to the final milestone but that Paragons would be ble to reach Milestone 7. I thought "great, okay. Well, I have to miss this first week but if I do everything else, I'll be able to hit Milestone 6 which has some really juicy rewards, like 5,000 Titan Shards, 7,500 7* shards, and the rank up materials." I was really looking forward to being able to get to that Milestone, so I played all the rest of the fights after their ridiculosuly difficult Absorbing Man fight, which they acknowledged was a total pain.

Depending on how difficult the Guantlet is, I might not even run it, if my final milestone rewards are just 200 ascension and some rankup materials I can get elsehwere. I thought Paragons could hit the 7th milestone when really it was Paragons but only if you had obtained all of the Deathless Guillotine Pieces and had her. I know the "hot" prize in milestone 7 was the Deathless Groot piece, but theres a lot of other good rewards there too.

They told you at the very beginning that there would be an objective with deathless guilly. You should have done the math then to see where you would end up if you couldn't get that point.

There were no surprises going into this last week, just a lack of math calculation on your part.

Getting deathless guilly was easy to do with time management.

You should have enough? Deathless guilly objective was an extra grace point. If you did everything, even skipping the robot objective you should be at 12 right now, with 6 this week for paragons. 4 objectives, 1 for completion, and 1 for exploration.

Not simply time management. Getting to Victory Track in BG is sometimes just not worth the pain.

And I'm sorry - when every single quest and event needs a 40 page user manual, something *as* specific as "you need deathless guilly for one of your objective" is bound to slip through the cracks.

But if they did say that, obviously that's a *my bad* but it's still really frustrating.

I'm sorry you're complaining about not being able to reach milestone 7 because you completely skipped the Absorbing Man fight?

I am at 12 now. For the Winter of Woe bonuses for 'how to get points' it only gives 1 point "for the first completion of each winter of woe fight" so has anyone already run it? Does it reward two, one for each path? If so yes that would put me at 18. Honestly, if that's the case, I'll deal with however difficult it is just so I can get to that milestone.

It wasn't just one sentence. You stated that you gave up on abs man because it was too hard a few times.

You never said you only skipped the robot objective, if that is the case.

I understand that. Can tell you why he didn't only focus on one sentence.

They said they would be 1 grace point awarded for the wow event
So ideally if you only did completion for the abs fight
Plus the free point for the robot objective
    It should be fine
Unless I am wrong about something
I am in the same predicament

Also wasn’t it always 1 objective less for paragon players compared to valiant players

And you said I couldn't read lol.

Regardless, thanks to @Phantøm_Echø and corroborrated by what people are saying over here https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/364091/winter-of-woe-not-enough-points I should get 2 points for completing (each path) not just 1 for completion, so I *WILL* be able to reach the final milestone. Thanks!
