The reason you can skip a SP3 in normal quest and not AQ, AW, AR, BG, and Incursions is because they are all fights with a time limit. They would have to write brand new code to remove the time it would of taken to play the animation for every current and future champ's SP3 and have that also display correctly to other players in co-op modes. Best to just not use a SP3 if you don't want to wait for it.
