Another month of tickets, complaint threads, lengthy YouTube explanations, etc for side quest. Why? Is it just anathema to consider that large swaths of players just want to play a mobile game where they punch defenders with their favorite champ? No one wants Necropolis level insights for side quests with vanilla rewards. Locked paths, no preview, keys, one entry, objectives all over the place + a new store….

Solo objectives - > maze -> the vault
The "style" may change but the premise is the same.
Do an objective to get an entry into side quest A. Complete side quest A to go into side quest B. Complete objectives in side quest B for rewards. Don't screw up any of the steps because there's effectively no forgiveness and you'll lose out on rewards. Use your resources gained to buy something from a store. Pay attention to the resources gained because there's an arbitrary cap and if you're at it you'll lose out without an ability to get those resources back. Oh yeah, the store refreshes.
The store refreshing is pretty much the most recent step in this increasingly annoying layered trend.
These side quests are horrible.
It's an increasingly bad system with multiple layers which is just creating more opportunities for summoners to fail and become frustrated.
Also, what's with the desire to make us fight against the base instinct this game has driven into us since day one? Last month SQ had an issue and the only way around it was to endlessly grind the fights, but not actually complete the quest, because we didn't have enough entries and had to restart and repeat the fights over and over without using up an entry in order to mathematically get the full milestones.
Now, along with having four entries for six potential paths... this side quest actually punishes people for trying to 100% explore it - which is only something that every other aspect of the game encourages and expects.
Oh and the return of the camera lock - amazing. Because everyone loved that.
Just go back to the side quest we could grind out completely on day one and then forget about it.
