Recoils & BGs

Since I haven’t seen anyone talk about it, I am guessing that I missed something but going to ask to confirm.

I run recoils all the time. Usually I just try to muscle through bgs to gc with recoils on. But with mastery loadouts, I was hoping it would be different.

So to test this, I turned on my BGs masteries and set my BGs deck. I then played a few matches and the recoils were off - good. I then swapped to a recoil build and played arena. Recoils were on - good. The next day, I played some BGs and recoils were on - bad. (I didn’t change my deck or anything)

So my question is, is this intended?

    Did you swap the bg mastery loadout?

    Also wdym by good and bad? Like taking more damage due to despair or something else?

    @MarvelNoob I did not swap to the bg mastery set before playing bgs the second time. I thought that your bg masteries are locked in when you set your deck.

    Good means expected and bad is unexpected.
