7* Rank 2 help

Yes, another one of those… 😅 Sorry!

So I opened my second ever Titan today… I was afraid since the first one was Thing! This one now stopped on Sersi… and then rolled over to Red Skull! Am sort of hyped because I’ve heard good things about him…

Anyway, I have a generic 1-2 Gem and also enough Trophy Tokens go get the ressources for a second rank up. And I don’t really know, what to do…

So here’s what I’m thinking:

There are some good unranked champs available to me, like Photon, Titania, Red Skull, Ironheart, Sunspot, Deathless Guillotine and Deathless King Groot…

Sunspot ist off the table because my two R3s are already mutants and I would like some class balance.

Photon is also kind of off the table, because I’ll ban her anyway in BG (for the life of me, I cannot fight her)

So option number 1:
Rank up Titania and Red Skull. I haven’t played any of the two seriously because I didn’t have them ranked at 5* or 6*… But I hear they are good.

Option Number 2:
DEATHLESS!!! Rank up Deathless Guillotine and Deathless King Groot. The idea being: The deathless Champs generally appear to be good and by the time we get the other ones, I’ll surely have enough ressources to rank up all of them to R2, which will make it easier to get Deathless Thanos (who knows, maybe he’ll be even good enough for R3? What a great team that would be?) also, at least the 4 “Basic Deathless champs” will be duped, which is always welcome…

Option Number three:
Am I overlooking anyone? Ironheart seems nice, Killmonger is often ranked by summoners… Maybe I shouldn’t rule out Photon but just get better at fighting her (although I have an awakened 6* at r4)

Anyways: Here is my current relevant roster (top half is the ranked roster, bottom half is the 7* R1 roster)

Ok, I guess the Deathless option is not very popular and I get it… I guess one will still be able to rank them up if really needed for the Thanos objective…

One more question though: I have sort of ruled out Photon… Was I wrong? I mean, I’ve looked up some videos now and I think I have some decent counters and can learn how to fight her… Nick Fury, Herc, Human Torch, Falcon, should all do ok against her.

So the question now is: Photon or Titania?

I get that Titania is a BG offense nuke and Photon is a nightmare on defense.

But do they also shine outside of BG?

Unduped photon is childsplay in defense, Anyone can nuke her before she gets enough charges to enter her form.
If you wanna balance things out, go for Titty and Evil Skull. He is more challenging than a unduped photon, also has his use in attack (great bullseye counter.

Power drain on block, in most cases you can kill him before he reaches a bar of power, if you play slow. But awakening really helps in fighting bullseye.

She is a amazing attacker but in bgs it takes a lotta time to ramp her up.

Haha, good eye… iBom is definitely on my list for the next 6* science rank up… But I don’t want to use T6CC on 6* champs anymore, so I hope there will be another rank up gem soon. Same for Fantman…

Small update: I have decided to rank up Ironheart and she is doing great so far!

The second ranking can wait for now… I will save my resources and who knows, maybe I‘ll dupe one of the options soon which will make my decision easier.
