He is awesome. Be wary of the fact that a lot of his util comes from his awakened ability though. He has a lot of basic tech util without his sig ability though. Like shock, armor, no crit, etc. If you want to rank a tech champ, he is a really awesome option, even unduped. However… the shining part of his kit is his damage. He has maybe the biggest sp2 in the game. One sp3, then sp1, then sp2, finishes most opponents with 400k health and below. This is just at r1, at r2 it is even higher. I love my 7*, and def recommend him. He is by no means the best tech, but in the upper 4th for sure.
I ranked him as my 2nd rank 3 to become valiant after finishing 8.4. Mine is unduped as well. Really solid champ, especially with a hulkbuster relic.
Not sure what the best stat focus for him is though. I have crit rate at the moment, to get more bursts of insta-shocks in bgs. If anyone uses something else and can justify it, I'd love to hear it.
Sp1 to Sp2 is your main rotation, or for bigger health pools you can stacks Sp3s and then unleash a massive Sp2.
Be aware against havok: your sp2 consumes your armor up, so probably avoid it in that instance unless you kill with the first blast.

While he might not be the best Havok counter due to Havok's higher energy resist, there's actually a way to fight him very safely! An often overlooked part of Guardian's kit are his abilities that consume his force fields. His light combo ender power drains the opponent (so you can push to s3, MLLLL, s2 and they wont be in the red). His other consumption comes from heavy attacking, where he generates a second, temporary armor effect. Launch a heavy and then s2 quickly after and you'll still have a leftover armor up, shielding you from Havok's fun and interactive dmg!
I have an r2 sig60 7* guardian with a r3 duped hulkbuster relic and he COOKS people in BGs. S1 into S2 to nuke just about anything. He doesn't need the dupe to be an absolute BG monster, and you'll get him duped eventually. I'd definitely r2 him unduped if you have a good HB relic to put on him. For me, at sig 60, the benefits aren't all that noticeable (yet) and really it's all about the massive S2. Rank him!
