Sell me on Luke Cage please

I just finished exploring 8.4 and got enough titan shards for a titan crystal. Unfortunately I pulled Luke Cage from it. I know he's better when awakened. Am I missing anything else that makes him goo? Especially since he just got a buff recently too.

    He has a lot of utility like, he can completely shut down any mystic champion's ability accuracy. He's great against power gain champions. He's one of the most ideal Mangog counter. I would say he's 7/10. He doesn't need a dupe at all.

    Yea I'm definitely going to level him up and figure out how to use him since I have him now.

    He has a lot.
    • Bleed immune (which is uncommon for a Science champ)
    • Lots of debuffs (exhaustion, sunder, concussion, stun, trauma)
    • Can shut down anything with his 75% potency concussion (which stacks 2 against mystics)
    • Tanky with inequity and especially that indestructible if awakened
    • Very good damage
    • Good physical resistance against non contact attacks
    • Points 1 and 6 make him a decent Bullseye counter despite the class disadvantage

    Also shown here, he's the perfect Sassy counter since Sassy cannot gain rage if he has exhaustion or enervate

    In any type of Power Gain meta, he's amazing fun, because he benefits from aggressive play.

    On nodes like Kinetic reactor, once you've got 4+ Exhaustions on the opponent, you can block freely and they'll drain their own power hitting your block.

    In the same way, he's good for Power Gain champs like Hyperion, Aarkus, most Mystics, or even Hulkling.

    His buff doesn't give him the same insane damage potential as Red Guardian; so he's not necessarily the best BG champion. On the other hand he's better at dealing with damage caps and nodes like Masochism; which RG can't handle at all.

    Luke also doesn't really need Awakened (it's nice but not necessary), whereas RG really needs Awakened and a decent Sig level for his crazy damage output.

    One more point: Cage still has one of the smoothest and simplest play styles in game. Unlike many current champs, he has none of the choppy animations or odd combo sequences—just play.

    He's busted in incursions, and is just generally a super easy to play and consistently decent damage champion.

    He completely shuts down Sasquatch aswell.

    I got Luke Cage too. I thought I got garbage but when I played with him he is actually quite decent on attack. Good counter for many mystic. Attack is also good..

    Dupe on him is very good because he can easily absorb sp3 damge . So you can hit continuously hit opponent untill they reach sp3...

    7* R1 without level up Luke Cage against WS. Even I don't know the rotation. Ws is down under 100sec. That is actually quite decent imo.
