Black Panther Civil War Stun Reflect Bugged

BPCW is supposed to reflect physical stuns by consuming an amour up. But when stunned by an energy based special attack, when subsequently hitting him, the existing stun sometimes reflects back after the fact (but not consistently; possibly only after a new armour up effect is triggered).
