Science R3 Royale!

I thought today might solidify the decision on my Science R3, but instead, it just made it harder by awakening a recently acquired champ (Spot) and giving me another banger of a new champ (Ham). No Photon awakening, and Hulk continues to elude me.

NOTE: Photon is the only one I currently have who's R5 and ascended to boot

Silk is a great nuke at r2 but you want the awakening for a lot of her utility. I’d leave her there for now

Photon is good unawakened, but not nearly as much of a defensive threat so I wouldn’t r3 her without the dupe either

Definitely not spot at sig 20. Ham is a good choice too, but I’d go Titania here

I'd go Pig just because he's dual threat + he can take most of the mystic matchups Titania can take because of degen resistance and he does it quicker than Titania.
Titania is better for skill champs lol but overall I think Pig is the better choice still.

I think her reach to skill champs is what makes her pretty busted. I’ve taken NF, Korg, Att, and a bunch of others with her and she nukes onslaught pretty well

If that's what op is looking for then yeah Titania easy pick. I would only pick Pig over her cause of speed + better dual threat overall but that's it.

You both make solid points, but I do agree I think Pig is a bit faster, especially utilizing him properly by pushing them to sp2 while Porkers are active, etc. I also have a pretty high ranked and awakened 5* Antman relic for him as well. Although, there's a part of me that feels a r3 Pig, even unawakened, will more likely to be banned than a r3 Titania would, simply due to his speed.

Then again, he could be plenty fast as a r2, and Titania as a r3 would open a whole new world of pain.

Gah, tough choice guys. I should have another 7* opening as well as a Titan in the next few days, so I'm crossing my fingers the basic opening shows the way. Titan would more so be a decision on my other undecided R3 as well as cosmic gem R3, which are completely other stories lol.

I think no matter who you r3 it will be an instaban regardless lol I always ban r3 Titanias and Pigs.

It all comes down to whether you want a quicker counter to tanky mystics or one that can take more defenders from other classes. Titania can take more defenders than Piggy but Piggy will always be faster than Titania against Rintrahs Sassys Mangogs etc. Also, like I said Titania has zero defensive value, Piggy's still a pain in the ass to fight.

I have r2 Sunspot r3 Bishop r2 Domino r5 Onslaught and r4 Weapon X so I don't need Titania for any of those matchups cause my mutant class is already stacked as is so that's probably the main reason I'd go Piggy. I also have a r5 ascended Red Guardian so I don't even need Titania's utility anymore.
I'd say look at your roster, and just figure out what you need more of cause all accounts are different at the end of the day. I know you're maxing out Red Guardian like me so I think it'd be a bad idea to r3 Titania when he can do what Titania does but quicker in at least 80% of all matchups and he can even do matchups Titania straight up can't or struggles a lot to do.

Pig is faster, pig is tankier, pig is better defender.

Pig needs the rank up more than Titty, since even at r3, you still need a sp3 with titty to end the fight, but ham at r3 straight up deals more damage.

Ham's damage is direct, so it ignores all resistance stuff. He completes every mystic fight except mephisto in less than 30 sec and more than 90% health. I am also planning to r3 my ham after this poolie event. Also remember, he is a guaranteed win in defense if opponent don't draft a evade counter.
