what was the purpose of the 4 extra pawn keys from week 2?

after doing all 4 mazes, the quest preview shows the rewards, so I used 1 of the 4 extra pawn keys and the path rewards weren't there cause they were claimed already

    You can use them in lower tiers if you've done all the tier 5. There's some dust in tier 4 that I'm going to target.

    The purpose was that in week 1 some people tried to explore the maze and went down paths that didn’t have keys as rewards. The maze map was also scroll locked in week 1 so you couldn’t tell what was at the end of the paths initially
