So I took mine to r4 so far, went in against a r3 7* bullseye (keep in mind I have no idea how to play sinister yet, just threw him in my deck and went in to bg's) and I still managed to timeout the match, it was hilarious.
I have since ascended him. I haven't pulled the trigger on the r5 yet, wanna do some testing and see what else he can do since I haven't played him outside of that one match in bg's yet, but if I can survive a r3 bullseye at r4 in bg's, that's insane, and well worth resources.
Yeah he's practically immortal against Bullseye no matter the rank. Also he works for Photon, Maestro and Serpent too. The only downside so far has been level 2 Inequity, it will drag out the fight a lot, still doable but not 30 secs quick. Also, he can punch a rank above but two or more he's very slow so don't use him for r3 7* unless he's r5 ascended.
So far I’ve only done 1 BGs match since it started on Wednesday. Won that match but my 3 banned champs were r6 Sinister, r6 Onslaught, 7r3 Omega Red. Guess the guy didn’t want to take chances.
I imagine Sinister will be banned quite a lot this season, as is the case for all my newly ascended champions 😮💨
I have him ascended too directly from R1. Sometime Mr Sinister got banned too in bg. But got one fight do with Mister Sinister. For me I am very enjoying him. Good defender for some matchup and better attacker than before. You can heal up all the time in fight. And he is great for other defenders too

Yeah Bullseye is basically Sinister food so most people are banning him, mine's been getting banned too. Bullseye's the strongest defender after Serpent right now so it's easy to see why people are banning him.
So I did Maestro: Two issues: 1. If you don't manage to pause your degens due to him throwing sp1 you lose a **** ton of time so always make sure he's at 0 power. 2. Inequity absolutely guts him, my degens were barely taking like 1.5%-2% of his health per tick or something and they were both r5 ascended. Pros: 1. Doesn't give a damn about glance. 2. You can heal back up all the cosmic radiation damage.
The biggest issue I can see right now though is Inequity, cause there's no other reason for my degens to be dealing that little damage. If it is Inequity I hope they change it so he basically disables Inequity mastery completely cause it's making him waaaay too slow and you don't even need maxed Inequity, even with Inequity 1 it already makes his degens very weak.
