Are you literally taking a piss mate. Did you really just try to psychoanalyze an entire group of people with one of the oldest tropes in psychology over a mobile game. How about you! get better. Kabam get better at making content get better at releasing content, get better at making fair deals, get better at making game controls. Stop! Blaming your consumers for crappy management and game design.

    I didn’t like the article but understood it was a joke. I still think there’s a reason why things kept formal when companies communicate with its customers/vice versa. I’m sure Jax wouldn’t want to do something like this again. The article uses a mix of humor, candidness, and empathy. This approach can be refreshing but might also be perceived as condescending by some players, especially those who are frustrated or struggling with the competitive aspects of the game.

    I'll make a post similar to this, but more blunt and non joking (since half the forums haven't figured out it's satire and meant to be a joke, and also take offense to everything) and you can go on damage control?

    This way everybody will come at me, rather than you, because quite personally, I'll just laugh at everybody that can't take the joke and tell them "you got too many participation trophies, git good bruh"..

    I think it's a great idea, personally! 😈

    Plus, I have duck socks and duck slippers, so we are definitely twins!

    I get that that post is sattire and I dont mind it but the only thing that it did is cause problems and make the forums and even bigger joke and after the day as a community manager that no way to talk to youre player base.

    Talking like a human is the best way to engage with the community. You’re telling me you want empty corporate speak instead? Sounds miserable.

    Jax wrote a fun article that, based on the reactions on this thread, many people enjoyed reading. Some people didn’t. To borrow a line from the boilerplate response, Jax should not abandon a thing that is good for the community due to the objections of a vocal minority.

    Jax and Miike and everybody else at Kabam are people. Let them be people.
